A drop in HVP infections & cervical lesions which could result in cervical cancer has been discovered recently by a systematic review of 600 existing HPV vaccination trials.

A recent systematic review of 600 existing HPV vaccination research which was commissioned by the World Health Organization discovered a reduction in HVP occurrences and cervical lesions which could result in cervical cancer.

This review's studies involved 600 million participants, and demonstrated a drop in HPV occurrences of up to 83% in females aged 15 to 19 years of age, and a drop of 66% in females aged 20 to 24 years of age. The corresponding drop rates for pre-cancerous lesions was 51% for the age cohort of 15 to 9 years of age, and 31% for the age cohort of 20 to 24 years of age.

These research outcomes point to the HPV vaccination's effectiveness in the prevention of cervical infections & cancer, and could possibly even lead to the elimination of the disease altogether.
