The upcoming high fantasy movie from Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures is based on Blizzard Entertainment’s hit MMORPG videogame World of Warcraft which came out in 2004. Duncan Jones (David Bowie’s son) is helming the movie with a script co-written by him and challenge mode carry for gold Charles Leavitt. Jones is the one who gave us the excellent Moon starring Sam Rockwell (the movie's a particular favorite of mine), and challenge mode carry Source Code with Jake Gyllenhaal.

The official synopsis for the film reads, "The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonise challenge mode wod another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army challenge mode wow faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something."
