Chad Harp graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2012. During his time at the university, he was able to join and work for a variety of different societies and organizations.

Chad Harp is happy to announce he has maintained his membership in the numerous organizations and societies he joined during his time at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. In 2010, Chad Harp became a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society and in 2011 he became a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society.

The Golden Key International Honor Society was founded in 1977 and is an international honors society focused on recognizing and aiding the efforts of scholars around the globe. Chad Harp was able to join the organization due to his commitment to his studies and his incredibly high GPA of 3.96.

The Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society was founded in 1920 and maintains almost 700 chapters in the United States. Joining the organization was easy for Chad Harp as his academics were stellar during his time at university. This organization helped him to apply his political science knowledge during his work at the Republican National Committee during the 2012 local and presidential election cycles.

Asked about the important of these organizations, Chad Harp stated, “I believe that organizations like Golden Key and Pi Sigma Alpha are great for undergraduates to start to get a feel for networking in the “real world.” Plus, the fact that they encourage members to participate in charity and other helpful activities is always good.”
