Chad Clift Offers Food for Local Organizations for Christmas

After building a successful business in Mossyrock, Chad Clift is motivated to help as many local charities and shelters as possible.

As part of a city-wide initiation, Chad Clift and his local restaurant workers at Swanky’s have provided more than 1000 servings of foods during the holidays. Some of that went to the local homeless shelter, but anybody who felt they would love a warm meal was welcomed. This initiation is extremely important because it creates a spirit of camaraderie, making people realize that they are all in this together, and the community as a whole can only grow if everybody is willing to do their part.

Chad Clift has grown up within the local community, developing a love for cooking at a very early age. He always participated in the city’s charity events, building up a reputation that later allowed him to become one of the most prominent members of the city. After finishing high school, he traveled to New York City to attend the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, a famous institution where he would master his already developing chef skills.

After completing college and earning his Bachelor’s Degree in the Culinary Arts, he decided to stay in New York to further hone his skills under the supervision of some of the nation’s best chefs. He worked upwards of 70 hours on a weekly basis, mastering the art of cooking next to the true masters of the profession. After a couple of years or professional success, he decided that it was time to return home. With considerable skills and a bank account where he kept all his savings that he earned during these years, he opened up his first restaurant called Swanky’s.

The establishment was opened in 2000, and remains one of the best culinary locations in all of Mossyrock. The locals appreciate the restaurant very much, as it not only offers some of the best local foods the community could find, but thanks to the owner Chad Clift, the restaurant is able to offer very competitive prices. The Christmas initiation was a collective idea that’s been in development for a while, and the locals hope that it will return in the near future, maybe next year around Christmas time.
