The Catholic education believes in protecting children and young members of the community to build a better future. Therefore, it recognises the dignity of everyone living in the community.

Cairns, 16th March 2017: The Catholic theology is based on the belief that each person is created in the image of God and hence, should be paid equal respect. We should not humiliate a single soul on this earth as we all have inherent dignity. An individual, regardless of the age, expects the community to recognise his or her identity and existence. Catholic education assists an individual in developing a strong personality so that he or she may achieve dignity in society.

Catholic education has helped students understand the importance of the unique relationship with others from the very beginning of their lives. The primary schools in Cairns focus on the development of a child’s intellect and cognitive abilities. They aim at making these children physically, mentally, socially and emotionally strong. These schools believe that spiritualism is the core of education. The religious dimension forms a vital part of a Catholic school’s curriculum. The course of study followed by the primary schools is collaboratively planned and formulated as per the Catholic theology and Bishop’s mandates. The primary education in a Catholic school follows practical strategies to help children become a responsible member of the community. These schools thoroughly assess students’ growth in skills and report regularly to the guardians or parents.

Righteousness is considered as a precious virtue amongst the pupils of a Catholic school. Besides educating them, prep in Cairns aims at making these young pupils honourable human beings. A child after completing his or her schooling should be a whole person: spiritually, intellectually, emotionally and socially.

Religious Overtones:
