Google Ads Introduces New Certification Requirements – Pay-Per-Click Advertising UK

Google Ads has rolled out tougher exam guidelines with three new certifications on Skillshop in October 2023. The three new professional certifications now include a picture of photo identification, a picture of your face, and a recorded video of your test-taking environment.

Google has also advised that during exams, a live proctor will be monitoring the activity of participants using a webcam, along with screen-sharing software. In the event the proctor notices any unauthorized behavior, the exam will be paused and the participant will receive a message. The exam will also be recorded and reviewed.

Google is inviting selected partners to undertake the exams to obtain the new certifications in Display Search and Video at no additional charge until 31 December 2023. from 2024, those taking the exams will be charged.
