Category 5e

Cat5e cable is the most common twisted pair cable used in structured cabling and computer networks today. The cable standard provides performance up to 100 MHz and is sutable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T and 1000BASE-T. Cat5e cable is also used to carry other signals such as telephony, video and audio. With the use of media converters Cat5e cable can also be used for a variety of other low voltage communication platforms.

Category 6

Cat6 cable is becoming more and more popular with the increased need for bandwidth and performance. Cat6 cable is the preferred choice for Gigabit Ethernet and the standard provides performance of up to 250 MHz. Cat6 cable is a slightly larger cable and has a tighter twist compared to Cat5e cable.

Category 6A (Augmented)

Cat6A is the latest standard from the TIA for enhanced performance standards for twister pair cabling systems. Cat6A cable is designed to handle 10 Gigabit Ethernet and provides performance of up to 500 MHz Cat6A cable is much larger and heavier that standard Cat6 cable

Multi-Pair

Multi-Pair copper cable is vital for extending a variety of circuits from the d-marc to the MDF. Whether you need a 25-pair or a 200-Pair we can install & terminate any type of Multi-Pair cable that you require.
