Today was a day like no other. I found myself stranded in a place that was not only unfamiliar to me, I really needed to go to the bathroom. In total dismay, I found myself in a position that I did not like. I would have to use the first available bathroom that I could find. Usually that means finding the closest gas station and pray that they did not have one of those bathrooms that was located on the outside of the building and in the rear of the building. You know the one, when the clerk gives you the key that is connected to something big like a hubcap of a block of wood. Well to my surprise the bathroom was inside the store and there were automatic toilet seat covers! I wish everyone would put automatic disposable toilet covers in the bathrooms. I was amazed that my wish was answered and there they were. The toilets were equipped with public restroom disposable toilet covers. That circular sensor with instructions beneath it gave me an additional feeling of security knowing that my hands would not have to touch anything. Even though a clean toilet seat cover was already there, I just had to see it work. The toilet seat changed without a problem and with limited noise. No matter, even if the noise would have been louder. To me it was a beautiful sound. It was a sound that I wish could be heard in every public bathroom everywhere. After I used the toilet, I thrilled in watching the toilet seat cover system change on its own. Every part of that toilet stall was automated except for the toilet tissue roll. I am sure in time it will be automated as well. But for now, I was too happy to have my hands free to tend to my own priorities. This bathroom made me feel safe and protected from germs, bacteria and nastiness that can occupy a public bathroom. Exiting the stall, I felt that this is the way all public bathrooms should be. This was a feeling of freedom that I had never experienced before in any public bathroom. As I was washing my hands, I could not resist taking another look. Well, at first I thought I was in this perfect little dream. It was still there just as I had seen it. Unfortunately, I was still lost.
