2> Personal Emergency Response Systems:- Home devices that connect older adults to a 24-hour call center with the push of a button. The transmitter is typically worn on a neck pendant and it sends a signal to a receiver that’s connected to the home telephone line.
3> Non-Medical Transportation:- Medicaid non-emergency transportation is an important benefit for beneficiaries who need to get to and from medical services but have no means of transportation.
4> Home Modifications:- Home modifications are physical changes made to one’s home to accommodate for the changing needs of the elderly or disabled to enable aging in place. Home modifications can be as simple as changing water faucet handles from knobs to levers or as comprehensive as the construction of an accessory apartment.
5> Home and Community-Based Services Waiver for Individuals Aged 60 and Older
Aging Home and Community-Based Waiver Services may be available to Pennsylvanians over the age of 60 to enable them to continue to live in their homes and communities with support and services.
6> Attendant Care/Act 150
If you have a physical disability, the Attendant Care Waiver and state-funded Act 150 program may be available to you to continue to live in your home and community with support and services.
7> Independence Waiver
If you are an adult with a severe physical disability, the Independence Waiver may be able to help you live or remain in the community and remain as independent as possible.
