The Account Executive at Boulder Blimp works with the clients to explain the different components of an arch which include: fabric, color, style and art. Our inflatable are made of a superior fabric. The 7.5 oz nylon is used because it is very durable yet not too heavy. Many competitors use a cheap polyester (which can easily tear) or a heavy nylon which makes the inflatable much tougher to transport. At Boulder Blimp, we have a wide selection of standard colored fabric or can create an inflatable arch from a PMS colored fabric. Beyond the material, our attention to detail regarding the size, style and art makes it so we can design a superior product for the event’s needs. Let’s start with the size of the arch. For an inflatable race arch, it is important to make sure it is not too big or too small. If a client is hosting an event that has children running in the race, they might go with an arch that is just 15’ wide. For most events, we recommend using a 24’ wide arch to make sure you have plenty of room. For the style of the arch, there are three main styles which are: 45 degree, 90 degree and square leg arches. We literally can make any custom style and color a client wants but have found these three styles provide the most visibility. Once you have chosen the size, style and color of the arch, our Account Executive works with you to place the art. Art can be placed directly on the inflatable or we can add interchangeable banners to the legs and crossbars.
