South Africa is a very beautiful place which is located at the southern tip of Africa. It covers a huge area of the earth and has a variety of people living who belong to diverse religion and culture. South Africa is also famous for another thing – which is the wildlife and natural sanctuaries. These safari places were filled with some of the best and rarest of rare animal species. But as time is passing by they are all getting extinguished. The reason of them getting demolished is a combination of natural as well as human created. Some natural causes are- climate changes, volcanoes, earthquakes, global warming etc. and we just do not have any control over these activities. But on the other hand human activities such as –hunting and poaching impact a lot. Many people do hunting for their fun whereas some do it for their skin. But these people do not understand that the adverse effect is coming to us only.

To put some halt on these activities and reduce the impact there are certain animal conservation projects in South Africa which have started in sync by government and some non-profit agencies. These projects encourage volunteer work with animals in Namibia where you would get an opportunity to go close to them and observe closely how they are living and how important they are for the ecological cycle to be maintained. These people come from various parts of the world to share their experience and knowledge over this topic. All things are clubbed together and a perfect campaign is prepared.

The people who have volunteered to work with animals in Namibia are made to stay in camps during the safari and have to even cook their meals themselves. But they do not take it as a burden, they enjoy this with fun and thrill. They go for small treks and fishing in their leisure time.

The animal conservation projects in South Africa have definitely made remarkable impact on parts of Africa and those people have started protecting the rare and extinguishing species.
