Leading global trade fair and conference organiser Messe Frankfurt is expecting strong representation from Middle East traders, for two of their fast-growing international trade fairs. targeting the meat processing and textile care industries.

 
Leading global trade fair and conference organiser Messe Frankfurt is expecting strong representation from Middle East trade buyers and decision makers, for two of their fast-growing international trade fairs. targeting the meat processing and textile care industries.

Senior officials from the Frankfurt-based organising teams of IFFA 2016 and Texcare International, were in Dubai today, meeting with industry representatives. trade professionals and leading market figures as part of a roadshow to create awareness of the myriad benefits of participating and visiting these global trade platforms.

IFFA, the premier meeting place for the entire international meat sector, is expected to attract some 960 exhibitors from around 50 countries, including all market leaders, to present their top innovations at the fair.

In the fully booked-up exhibition halls, they will show new products, technologies and solutions for all stages of the meat-processing chain on around 110,000 square metres of exhibition space. In the region of 60,000 trade visitors from over 140 countries are anticipated.

Wolfgang Marzin, President and CEO of Messe Frankfurt said: “IFFA has been held in Frankfurt for 45 years and, during this time, has developed into the leading international trade fair for the sector. It is and will remain the most important innovation platform for investment goods along the entire process chain. The majority of our exhibitors, who include all world-market leaders, launch their innovations onto the international market at IFFA.”

Richard Clemens, Managing Director of the Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association of the VDMA, conceptual partner of IFFA said: “For machinery manufactures, IFFA is the most important trade fair. With its clear focus on meat, it offers not only an unrivalled spectrum of solutions but also a great concentration of experts. Here the spotlight is on innovations and trends oriented towards the needs of the market, which generate decisive impulses for shaping the future. The high degree of internationality at IFFA shows that Frankfurt is the firmly established meeting place for the global network of the meat industry.”

Texcare International, which will run from June 11 to 16 at Hall 8 and 9 of the Frankfurt exhibition complex, is on course for continuous growth. The world's leading trade fair for textile care will be showcasing innovations and new developments across the whole range of modern textile care to an international trade public on some 40,000 square metres of exhibition space – around 30 percent more than previous.

The growth of Texcare is reflected in the strong and growing textile-care market in Europe. Günter Veit, Chairman of VDMA Garment and Leather Technology, says: “For a number of years we have been observing the trend that more and more companies are expanding their product range and developing it further. Major drivers of growth here are the continued digitalisation in textile care and rising requirements expected, for example, of hygiene. By adding an additional hall, Texcare International will be able to respond even better to this growing product range, in both breadth and depth.”
