Birla Academy of Art & Culture in Kolkata has taken the initiative of showcasing documentary films reflecting Bengal's culture.

The “Resurgence- Revival of Indian Embroiders and Textiles” is an event to watch out for! The exhibition will be curated by AsifShaikh. The works here comprise of Kalamkari panel, Bandhani, Ajrak, Mata ni patched with Aari embroidery. Some of the distinctive works to look out here is going to be the fascinating embroidery work with Navkar Mantra on Bandhanias well as the authentic Parsi patterned embroidery. The exhibitions will not be featured during Mondays and public holidays that falls within the exhibition showcasing timeline.
