COCONUT GROVE – Once again, Bill Hansen Luxury Catering and Event Production (www.BillHansenCatering.com) distinguished itself as the South Florida leader as it treated international luminaries and celebrities to the finest foods and service at the recent Longines Global Champions Tour.
This event features the world’s leading equestrian show jumpers in the world and Hansen’s firm set the tone with the area’s finest foods at the recent kick-off event on Miami Beach.
“We were honored to be selected for this event,” said Hansen, CEO and founder of this 35-year-old firm. “Our chefs and planners were able to exercise their creativity in providing gourmet foods for the hundreds of international guests and participants from all over the world.

The 15-event tour regularly hosts high-profile equestrian enthusiasts such as H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, Princess Caroline of Hanover, Charlotte Casiraghi, Infanta Elena Duchess of Lugo, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, rock star Bruce Springsteen and actress Marion Cotillard.
The selection of Hansen’s firm was certainly not a surprise since it is regarded as the area’s premier caterer and planner for those seeking unique experiences at unique venues.
“This was certainly the case at the Longines Global Champions kick-off event,” said Hansen. “We created a tented restaurant atmosphere on the beach for three full days. Local ethnic foods and refreshments highlighted our presentations during breakfast, lunch and afternoon teas for the VIPs. We also provided three full meals each day for the participants.”
As the first venue for the 15-event tour, the Miami Beach event set the tone for upcoming competitions on three continents at such cities as Rome, Mexico City, Monaco, Vienna, Shanghai and the special final event in Doha, Qatar.
