Bethesda Boxing & Kickboxing Academy welcome to fight with Parkinson's disease. Julie, a former gymnast is having more than 20 years of experience in the martial arts.

 
19 June 2020: Bethesda Boxing & Kickboxing Academy with RockSteady boxing is aimed to empower people suffering from Parkinson's disease to fight back and to get better the life of quality with non-contact boxing supported fitness program. It is important to have speed, muscular endurance, optimal agility, footwork, and hand-eye coordination to defend the competitor in a game. Parkinson's disease is the enemy. Exercises differ according to the form and purpose but are both thorough and intended to expand the distinguished capabilities of the contributor. Classes are getting started from 30 July and 1 August for the aspirant candidates.

From the last 6 years, she has strongly trained in kickboxing, most lately with WKA national kickboxing champion Greg Sheppard. The specialty of the Julies is imparting coaching to the kickboxing. She is tough, warm, friendly, and tolerant with all members and represents an essential addition to the BBKA Staff.
