August 1, 2019, Fairfield, Conn. – Benchmark, a human connection company and leading provider of senior living services in the Northeast, today announced that Frank Boasorte has been named executive director of Sturges Ridge of Fairfield, a Benchmark assisted living and memory care community in Fairfield, Conn., that opened last fall.
Boasorte previously served as a regional director of operations for Benchmark for five years and most recently as vice president of operations for the north east region for Milestone Retirement Communities. He also spent 15 years as regional director of operations for Sunrise Senior Living.
Originally from Brazil, Boasorte graduated from Sao Paolo University with a master’s in business administration and earned a bachelor’s in nursing administration from Iona College. He lives in Dumont, N.J., and has a 22-year old daughter. In his free time he enjoys riding his Harley, taking helicopter flying lessons, cooking and spending time with family.
“I’m excited to come back to what I love, which is the opportunity to interact directly with residents and their families and build strong relationships with them,” says Boasorte. “Benchmark truly puts their residents first so being able to return to Benchmark’s flagship community in founder Tom Grape’s home town is a huge honor.”
Last September, Sturges Ridge brought assisted living to the town of Fairfield for the first time with the unique mission of providing the experiences that will keep seniors, their families and associates connected to what matters most in their lives. Located between The Carolton Chronic and Convalescent Hospital and Fairfield Ludlowe High School, it offers 85,000 square feet of assisted living apartments, memory care suites and spacious common areas, including underground parking, a rooftop patio and apartments featuring "luxury box" views of Fairfield Ludlowe High School football games. The community also offers a robust team designed to help seniors age well, including associates dedicated to coordinating medical appointments and much more.
Most recently the community was awarded a TownVibe/Fairfield Magazine Readers Choice Award following its survey of over 1,000 local residents.
