The Investiture Ceremony was held at Gemstone , Pratapgarh on 17th August 2016 to honour the Student Leaders and give them badges. The Lieutenant Colonel, Gaurav Narang graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. His words of advice to be frank, free and fearless inspired all. In the presence of the CEO Mr. SL Gupta, the Principal Mrs. Vijaya Chaudhuri and the Director of Education Mrs. Ruma Basu the HEAD BOY, HEAD GIRL, THE PREFECTS of classes IX-XII and Club Heads of LITERARY, SCIENCE, IT, ACTIVITY, CULTURAL AND GAMES AND SPORTS CLUB were given the badges. The respective CLUB TEACHERS, PARENTS and other Teachers were present to encourage the student- leaders who were ushered onto the stage at the rhythmic beat of the School Band. The School Song sung by the Students and the Oath taken by the leaders truly made the atmosphere solemn and filled every heart with a feeling, pride and devotion. It was indeed a RED LETTER DAY in the history of BDMI.
