A Japan-based American family seeks the help of the public to save the life of their son, Jimmy Ryan who is a victim of a suffocation atrocity, and series of violations of his human rights beginning several years ago. After years of negligence and denial of life-saving medical intervention, the family has taken to internet, seeking help from the public to save Jimmy, by signing the Jimmy’s Wish petition.

The family seeks justice and pleads with the public to sign their petition that demands U.S. congress take action and launch investigations into the serious crimes, and violations of international human rights law condoned in Japan against an American family, and the pleads for international transparency, justice, and return of the human rights guaranteed in the Constitution of Japan.

“The cruelty is heart wrenching, our only son Jimmy was suffocated with a plastic bag when he was eleven years old, the Japan police and press have failed in their legal and moral obligation to uphold our human rights and act strictly in accordance with the international law, they will not help our son Jimmy,” said Miki Ryan Jimmy’s mother.

“Because of such cruel inaction, years of human rights violations and willful negligence have continued, Jimmy now suffers from rickets as his hips and shoulders are deformed, he measures four feet and one inches tall caused by severe malnutrition. His rib-cage is collapsing into his heart and lung and desperately needs his human rights to lifesaving surgery, he is running out of time and will die in agony without the compassionate help from the American people – I plead with you to please sign our petition”, she finally added.

Jimmy suffered severe pediatric acquired brain injury (PABI) after having been suffocated by Japanese military doctors, who for no medical reason or prior consent placed a plastic bag over his head. This incident lead to Jimmy being in a vegetative state and dependent on life support.

“Through signing the petition, you will have helped our son get justice and treatment and also worked in preventing this kind of atrocity from happening to anyone else, as a family we appreciate your time and commitment to help us save Jimmy’s life,” appealed Jimmy’s parents.
