The NSW liq-uor laws mandate responsible service of alco-hol training for the liq-uor industry.

These requirements reflect the importance of ensuring licensees and staff understand their obligations in serving liq-uor responsibly and the types of strategies that can be implemented to add value to a venue’s operations.

* RCG: SITHGAM001 Provide responsible gam-bling services
The SITHGAM001 - Provide responsible gam-bling services (RCG) competency is the foundation for mandatory training on responsible gam-bling for new hoteliers, secretary managers and ga-ming-related staff.

It is a requirement of the Ga-ming Machines Act 2001 for proposed hoteliers, secretary managers and staff who will have ga-ming machine related functions to have completed the NSW Provide responsible gam-bling services course (RCG).

This course is conducted over a minimum of six hours. There are no exemptions from this course.
