Leading UK charity Help for Heroes are expanding the range hoodies available in their popular online store. The charity, who provide help for wounded service men and women, are extending the collection due to high demand, offering more designs to suit all styles and tastes.

In September 2009, the Help for Heroes Shop launched their first hoody. The popularity of this original design in navy blue continues into the present and is a permanent feature in the Help for Heroes Shop. The classic design is oversized, super soft and extremely cosy, and features the charity’s branded wording and stretcher bearer logo. The H4H hoody has now established itself as an iconic product for the charity and is consistently a top seller at events and online.

The overwhelming success of the navy blue hoody led to the launch of “Operation: Hoodie” in September 2010, when co-founder Emma Parry decided to expand the range of hoodies. This new range introduced hoodies for both adults and children in classic and seasonal colours, outside of the core brand colours of red, light blue and navy. More colours were then released in December 2010 and January 2011. In all, since the launch of the original hoody more than two years ago, the Help for Heroes Shop has witnessed the creation and development of over 20 different variations of hoodies. The assortment of colours now spans from red to charcoal to pink, encompassing a variety of different styles to cater for all tastes.

Autumn 2011 saw the introduction of three new H4H hoody styles: the zipped hoody, two tone and printed arm designs. As its name implies, the zipped hoody features a full length central zip with a pull in the H4H tri-colours. Printed on the chest and back is the stretcher bearer logo, with Help for Heroes branded wording running down the sleeve. This new design has all the iconic branding expected of an H4H hoody, but with the convenience of a zip for easy wearing and removal. The printed arm hoody shares the design of the zipped, but excludes a motif on the back. The two tone design stays loyal to the classic in most respects, but has the added attribute of contrasting coloured toggles and features lining in the hood. It also has thumbholes to keep hands that little bit warmer, particularly when you forget your gloves!

Over the past three months the range has increased further to incorporate exciting new colours such as olive green in the classic design and an ocean blue zipped hoody. A fresh new shade of pink has also arrived just in time for Easter and spring. Set to be just as popular as the original honeysuckle hoody, the new rose pink classic hoody offers a feminine look whilst still being warm and perfectly oversized.

Another classic design has just been launched in cornflower blue and is online on the Help for Heroes Shop. This fresh and alternative shade of azure has less green than a traditional blue and will replace the original sky blue and turquoise hoodies – perfect for your spring wardrobe.
These hoodies are great to wear all year round; whether you want an extra layer when the sun goes down or you need to wrap up warm on those chilly winter days.

Purchasing an H4H hoody is a great way to show your support for our wounded heroes. They also look great with jeans for a stylish and casual look. Head over to the Help for Heroes Shop website and view the entire range of hoodies available, as well as the extensive range of other H4H merchandise.
