Pooja Gor seeks advice from her sister

Life OK’s upcoming show Ek Nayi Umeed..Roshni has an intriguing storyline and revolves around the life of doctor Roshni, who is compassionate and stands for what is right. Pooja Gor who plays the character of the lead protagonist is doing an extensive research and preparations to get into the skin of the character. While doing so, she found a guide in her sister who is a general physician. Pooja spent long hours at her sister’s clinic understanding the peculiarities of the profession before she started to shoot.
“While I am playing a headstrong doctor in the show, I had to take a lot of efforts to make it look substantial onscreen. Personally, I am not very comfortable with hospitals and its mere sight freaks me out. But I slowly got over it when I started taking lessons from my sister. Sitting at her clinic, I would observe people around, patients waiting to be cured with the eyes filled with hope. The amount of trust and faith they put in their doctor is quite overwhelming and these little insights helped me a lot to better my character.”

Ek Nayi Ummeed..Roshni will go on air starting July 13, Monday to Friday at 8pm on Life OK
