Truman, MN, April 07, 2014 -- Mankato Area Bikers Against Child Abuse receives a $1,818.00 matching-fund grant from Crystal Valley Coop and the Land O’Lakes Foundation.

According to Jim Rogers, President, the grant will be used to provide aid, comfort, safety and support for children that been abused. The organization also finances assistance to support children’s therapy when they are left without resources.

Crystal Valley Cooperative is a local full service cooperative with over 150 full-time employees serving the agronomy, energy, feed, and grain customer. We began in 1927 and have nine locations serving Blue Earth, Brown, LeSueur, Nicollet, Steele, Watonwan, and Waseca counties and surrounding areas in south central Minnesota. We strive to meet the needs of the communities we serve.

The Land O’Lakes Foundation, established in 1996, provides matching cash grants to non-profit and community organizations in states where Land O’Lakes has a concentration of members or employees.
