Experts in Search, Social Media, Creative and Marketing to Light Up Bend, Oregon for Sixth Consecutive Year.

Bend, OR, August 22, 2014 -- The Bend WebCAM conference hosted by Pixelsilk and AdFed of Central Oregon, announced its line-up of top-notch conference keynote speakers. The popular conference imports some of the leading innovators from around the country, specifically in the web, creative and marketing fields – and attracts attendees from the Pacific Northwest, up and down the West Coast and beyond. This year’s Bend WebCAM will be held in Bend, Oregon, October 13-14, 2014.

Keynote speaker Bruce Kasanoff, Founder/Story Teller at Now Possible, said, “I’ve always wanted to visit Bend. When the news arrived that Bend WebCAM would be gathering the most creative folks for miles around, I was the first to sign on. I can’t wait to help bring out the best talent in others.”

In addition to Kasanoff, other keynote speakers include:
Dr. Carmen Simon, Managing Partner at Rexi Media
Farrah Bostic, Founder/Story Teller at the Difference Engine
Michael King, Director of Owned Media at Acronym
Marty Weintraub, Founder/CEO at aimClear

The full agenda and all speakers’ bios for Bend WebCAM are featured at www.bendwebcam.com/speakers.

Weintraub said, “Bend WebCAM is a coveted regional online marketing conference, on par with substantially larger cities. I’m thrilled to keynote this conference as well as to sample Bend’s famed brewhouse fare. Grab your up-close-and-personal conference pass now or you’ll read about the conference somewhere else and wish you had attended.”

In addition to these keynote speakers, Bend WebCAM will feature ten other thought influencers who will lead workshops and breakout sessions exploring the left brain (Geek), right brain (Chic) and hybrid (SuperFreak) worlds of traditional and interactive marketing. The conference will also include the highly popular “Hot Seat” panel in which a group of industry geniuses in both search engine optimization (SEO) and marketing fields review a handful of websites submitted by attendees. The panel will provide expert feedback on everything from search engine rankings to user experience (UX) to link building to overall branding. Marty Weintraub and Will Scott will also lead a social media workshop with a hot seat component focusing on social media marketing and promotions. Attendees can sign up to have their website or social media reviewed for $50 by emailing [email protected].

Being based in one of the nation’s top craft beer-centric towns, Bend WebCAM, as one might guess, is not all serious business. At the end of Day 1, attendees can look forward to the popular Brew Ha-Ha mixer and the Brew Bye-Bye will close the conference on Day 2. Both offer attendees the unique opportunity to taste many local brews as they mix and mingle with the conference speakers.
