New Delhi: Renowned film director Pankaj Parashar was honored with Hindi Cinema Gaurav Samman a national award for his 30 years of untiring contribution to Hindi Film Industry as film director on the third day of 10th Global Film Festival.
President of International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry Sandeep Marwah and known cine star Jackie shroff in the presence of august audience at Vigyan Bhawan handed over the award to Pankaj Parashar.
Earlier renowned cine star and member parliament Shartughan Sinha, Vijay Goel Minister for State Parliamentary Affairs and Statistical Implementation Government of India had spoken about the role of Hindi cinema in uniting the nation and developing the language for all these years.
Pankaj Parashar is known for his feature films Ab Ayega Mazaa, Jalwa, Chalbaaz, Himalya Putra, Rajkumar, Tum Ko Bhool Payenge, Meri Biwi Ka Jawab Nahin, Inteqam: The Perfect Game and Banaras.
