Case presentations will intersperse the 'Live Surgery' session at the Celebrate Retina Celebrate Life (CRCL) event to be held at Sahara Star Hotel, Mumbai, from May 15-17, 2015. The one and half hour session on 16th May will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1pm.

The session will have Dr. N S Murlidhar, Dr. Somdutt Prasad, Dr. Vishal Rathod, Dr. ShobhitChawla, Dr. Cyrus Shroff, Dr. Kim, Dr. Mahesh Shanmugam and Dr. Niaz Abdur Rahman as panelists. The cases to be presented are:

• Subretinal lymphoma: Dr. Hemant Trehan
• Vitrectomy in CRAO: Dr. Nishikant Borse
• Bilateral Periorbital and Cervicofacial Emphysema following Retinal Detachment surgery in a case of inadvertent Globe Perforation: Dr. Haresh Asnani
• Interesting Case: Dr. Suresh Ramchandani
• Scleral band in myopia: Dr. Phiroze Patel
• Vitreo Retinal Surprise: Dr. Saurabh Luthra

Each of the above presentations will last for four minutes followed by an equal minute of discussion. Noted vitreoretinal surgeon Dr. Steve Charles will join the second day of the event via teleconference.

About Celebrate Retina Celebrate Life Event
Celebrate Retina Celebrate Life is being organized by Aditya Jyot Institute Of Vision Science And Research (an academic R&D unit of Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital) and co-organized by Retina Foundation (Ahmedabad) and Retina Care Hospital Pvt Ltd (Nagpur).

The event is a tribute to three vitreoretinal doctors namely Dr. Pran Nagpal, Dr. P. Namperumalsamy and Dr. S. S. Badrinath. These legends are completing 75 years of their life and have taught and trained many generations of retinologists in the subcontinent.

During the event Dr. Kanti Mody, Dr. T P Lahane, Dr. Rumi Jehangir, Dr. P K Khosla, Dr. Kirit Modi, Dr. Keiki Mehta, Dr. T N Ursekar, Dr. H K Tiwari, Dr. B T Maskatiand Dr. Babu Rajendran will also be felicitated.
