12th August 2011 - There has been a call for global warming awareness and saving the planet earth for several years now.

And our over reliance to conventional sources of energy have bad effects on our environment.

It is about time that we go green, by using homemade energy sources that have no damaging effects to the environment. Good news is that you can arrange for it to be done at home.

There are two kinds of Homemade Energy sources that we can use: (1) the wind energy through use of wind turbines, and (2) the solar energy through the use of solar energy converter or solar cells. The guidelines, books and apparatus that we need to create this homemade energy are now available for download and purchase, whichever the case may be.

To create the wind energy, we can either buy the wind generation turbine or make it and install it ourselves. The wind turbine is a huge fan that we install near our house. The fan moves when the air flows through it. During the process, the coils move in a rotating motion which produces electricity. The electricity is then stored in the generator attached to the wind turbine. We can use it to heat water and run appliances in our houses.

Just like the wind turbine, the solar cells can be either purchased in the market or be made through the blueprint that will be provided for our use. We place this solar cell at the roof of our house, to come in direct contact with the sunlight. When the light rays shines on the solar cell, a chemical reaction takes place and electricity is produced. This is also stored in the generator attached to the cell. This alternative energy can run our appliances, and offer us a pollution-free environment.

Switching to a sustainable and renewable energy sources like the wind and the sun can really help save the environment. Besides saving a lot of money from electricity bills, we will never experience shortage of power because we have these two sources in abundance. It feels good when we know that we have given our share and cooperated in the campaign to protect the earth with Homemade Energy.
