An Accelerator program was launched by ARCH College of Design and Business at its campus located at Malviya Nagar in Jaipur. The program started with an address by Incubation Advisor Dilnawaz Khan who gave a brief outline about the course. He has been consulting and mentoring startups in domains like technology, branding and marketing. A welcome note was then given by moderator of the program Ms. Neena Jaju (Dy. Head, Academics at ARCH).
The keynote speaker was the founder of Cosmo Infrasolutions and first generation serial entrepreneur Mr. Rajneesh Bhandari, who graced the launch of ARCH Accelerator program. He guided the students from an Angel Investors’ perspective to avidly pursue technology-led innovations and develop a good business plan.
Students of ARCH gave presentations in groups, showing their interests and plans to develop business plans. ’World of Warcraft’ was the first B-plan, it focused on organizing conferences for artisans and providing them with an online platform so that they generate more revenue. ‘Amour ‘the other project which aims at developing customized gifting services.’Stoli’s Empire’ was the third plan to create detachable customized jewellery.
Mr. Shiv Kumar Kedre (Assistant Director- Development Commissioner Handicrafts, Government of India) delivered a special talk on the means and plans meant to empower craftsmen and enable them to secure themselves financially.
At the end, ARCH founder and director Ms. Archana Surana summed up the whole event and motivated the students to become entrepreneurs citing the importance of disruptive innovations in present context.
