We received a warm welcome from LinkedIn representatives. More than 30 Human Resource delegates took participate in this seminar. Applicant Tracking System was one among them.
The event started with tea and networking session. It was a nice opportunity to interact with recruiters across various industries, majorly IT, financial, medical,manufacturing and recruitment sector. Recruiters were sharing their day-to-day recruitment experiences and talked about what latest technologies and trends their respective company has imbibed in their daily work processes. But it was more surprising to know that recruiters are still not preferred to be made technology savvy department in most of the companies. They were still involved in old practices of manual hiring and are new to the world of applicant tracking systems.
Later we all assembled in a nicely setup hall. LinkedIn started the event with a really nice initiative of awarding the most engaging, most connected and most active users of LinkedIn, among those present in the hall. The representatives took us through a brilliant presentation of how recruiters can be benefited with LinkedIn’s Job Posting feature. And seeing a vast network of professionals on LinkedIn, it is crucial for recruiters to advertise their Job openings on LinkedIn.
Appreciating this very feature of LinkedIn, Applicant Tracking System has initiated a tie-up activity with this social networking giant, where recruiters using this tracking system can directly post their Jobs to LinkedIn along with other major job sites (Naukri, Monster, Shine, TimesJobs, SimplyHired and Indeed) in just one-click.
