Atlanta, GA - Nov. 13, 2013 – Millions of people are turning to their own backyards and local farmers in search of healthy food free of contaminants and additives. Andre Grant, CEO of Global Aquaponics Incorporated, has launched a fund-raising campaign at Indiegogo to produce a step-by-step guide to assist individuals in acquiring, operating, and maintaining scalable aquaponics systems at home. The firm is seeking $250,000 for testing the home systems and producing the publication.

“Funding of the $20,000 amount will allow us to conduct the needed research to test and produce small scale systems for home use, and publish the Healthy Home Harvest guide that shows anyone how to grow their own food safely and economically, even if they don’t have a green thumb,” said Grant.

The ambitious project has captured the interest of internationally known investor and promoter, Tobias “The Tiger” Ritesman. A consultant to some of the most influential people and companies in the world, his assistance has been invaluable in launching a wealth of highly successful ventures. The CEO of The Tiger Consultant, Inc. is a board member at Global Aquaponics Inc., helping to address the world’s food issues in ways that are profitable for farmers, economical for consumers and provides bountiful harvests for the benefit of all.

A leading provider of commercial aquaponic systems, Global Aquaponics Inc. is working to restore food integrity around the globe. The guide, “The Healthy Home Harvest Kit” (HHH Kit), is designed for individuals and families, showing them how to create a sustainable food system that uses no soil. The book is a valuable resource for anyone in search of the means to grow their own fruit, vegetables, herbs and even fish. The HHH Kit will be produced in multiple languages.
The publication will include four systems of different sizes, ranging from those appropriate for school projects to systems capable of producing up to 200 pounds of food per month. Those who make a contribution of $5 or more to the project will have their names included in the book when it’s published, along with additional perks. Donations of $5 will earn donors a great bumper sticker, while those contributing $15 will receive three bumper stickers and the satisfaction of acting to end world hunger.

For a $29 donation, contributes will receive two bumper stickers and Global Aquaponics Inc. will supply a virtual edition of the book to a charity, foundation, school or non-profit organization. Those who make a $49 contribution will receive a HHH kit and 4 bumper stickers. For a $99 contribution, donors receive a HHH kit, five bumper stickers and their choice of a $25 gift card to Menards, Home Depot, Wal-Mart or Best Buy.

A contribution of $500 nets donors two HHH kits, 10 bumper stickers and the donor’s choice of a $75 gift card to Menard’s, Home Depot, Best Buy or Wal-Mart. Global Aquaponics Inc. will also supply up to four schools, charities or non-profits with a virtual edition of the HHH kit.

A partner level donation of $1,000 or more earns the giver four HHH kits, 20 bumper stickers and a choice of a $150 gift card to Best Buy, Home Depot, Menard’s or Wal-Mart and HHH kit supporter recognition. The firm will also supply up to eight schools, non-profits or charitable organizations with a virtual edition of the HHH kit. Donors also have the option of having Global Aquaponics Inc. provide them with a custom aquaponics solution. For donors who want to receive the full aquaponics experience, the firm is offering a hands-on training experience at one of their recently built facilities.

Aquaponics provides people with the means to grow organic vegetables, fruits, herbs and fish in their own backyard. The systems can be scaled to accommodate the needs of the individual, family or community, providing fresh fish and produce free of pesticides, contaminants and additives. The Healthy Home Harvest publication will provide all the information needed to build and maintain smaller scale systems for home use. Fans can follow the firm on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
