West Chester PA, 12-JULY-2014 - Klein Chiropractic Center and Dr. Jeffrey Klein, DC are pleased to announce that they are active supporters of the West Chester Food Cupboard, a non profit organization. The practice has hosted a charity gift auction in order to raise funds for the the Food Cupboard. To date, Dr. Klein, West Chester chiropractor, has brought in a total of $336 for purchasing supplies to benefit the citizens of the West Chester area.

According to Dr. Klein, speaking during a recent interview, "The eFlea process works much the same as a silent auction. It is an honor system and is handled online. The current auction ran from Monday, April 28 through Saturday May 10. I am pleased to be able to help the West Chester Food Cupboard in this way. The organization provides food and household items to families in need living in West Chester."

A representative for the West Chester Food Cupboard stated, "We believe that there is nothing more basic than food security, and it is our mission to empower the community to work together in making sure that all West Chester residents receive the food they need to live a healthy, active life. To that end, the West Chester Food Cupboard, with generous support from the community, commits to provide a variety of fresh and nonperishable food items on a monthly basis to West Chester residents in need."

The Food Cupboard was founded in 2009 and is a non-profit organization operated by a team of volunteers. Currently more than 500 households are provided each month, receiving personal care items and food. Most of the contributions are provided by members of the community.
