We have a visitor center where you can watch films on park events and supplies information. You can get information on the history of horses within the international museum of the horse in this park.
In the Hall of Champions, horse races are highly honored. There is also an exciting walk through the park. This is a place where you expose yourself to demonstrations such as blacksmiths, waggoneers, and a parade of thoroughbreds and harness makers. Visitors also have an opportunity to enjoy the horse-drawn carriages and horse rides. The place is a thoroughbred training center.
Lexington Cemetery
Lexington Cemetery is a public cemetery that was established back in 1849. It embraces the social, military and environmental history of the community. The graveyard I located in a beautiful green land that extends 170 acres on land. There is metal-labeled plate along the walking tour indicating names of various trees.
For those who are interesting in bird watching, there is a serene, silent environment where one can watch birds. On the last Monday of every may there is a Memorial Day observance together with a symbolic service and whoever willing to pay respect must add this to their calendar Lexingtonky.
Mary Todd Lincoln House
Mary Todd Lincoln, House was originally built in 1803 to 1806 as an Inn. In 1832, Mary Todd's father bought the house for his family. Mary, who later on became Abraham Lincoln's first lady often visited home in her girlhood.
The house, which is built in a Georgian – style, is filled with Lincoln’s family portraits. The house tells the history of a remarkable first lady story, visitors can take a tour in the 14 rooms’ house with a guide a trip that may take an hour.
Keene land
Keen land is a professional racecourse that is an elegantly decorated place open to the public since the year 1936. Some among the many reasons as to why one should visit keen land is touring and soaking in the thoroughbred racing culture. Some of the largest thoroughbreds are hosted here.
Aviation Museum of Kentucky
The aviation museum is designed to educate people about the aviation industry and mostly those who are interested in pursuing an aviation career. It is located at the Bluegrass Airport. We have special aviation camps taking place within the museum-taking place throughout the summer from 10 to 18 and older.
