Mentha oil prices raised by 0.39 per cent on Tuesday at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as traders engaged in creating positions on account of good demand from consuming industries

 
Mentha oil prices raised by 0.39 per cent on Tuesday at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as traders engaged in creating positions on account of good demand from consuming industries and lower arrivals from Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh. At MCX, Mentha oil futures for November 2014 contract, at MCX, were trading at Rs. 692.90 per kg, up by 0.39 per cent after opening at Rs. 689.30 against the previous closing price of Rs. 690.20. It touched the intra-day high of Rs. 693.30 till the trading. (At 3.04 PM)

CASTOR SEED
Castorseed prices rose by 0.38 per cent on Tuesday at the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) as a result of the rise in demand from consuming industries against restricted arrivals in domestic markets which in turn encouraged the investors to enlarge their holdings. At the NCDEX, castor seed futures for November 2014 contract were trading at Rs. 4,730 per quintal tonnes, up by 0.38 per cent, after opening at Rs. 4,736 against the previous closing price of Rs. 4,712. It touched the intra-day high of Rs. 4,736 till the trading. (At 12.25 PM).
