Link building is an excellent exercise to increase Google ranks.

Link building is an excellent exercise to increase Google ranks. There are many SEO techniques that can be used for better PageRank score in Google but at the end of the day Google and the other top search engines pay special attention to those websites that have great incoming links. However, in an endeavor to increase links website owners and their SEO partners often resort to tactics that cannot be considered as ethical. Link building is not easy but unethical practices can completely doom a website. Ethical link building may be more time consuming but the time invested brings in great ROI in the long run.

The worst thing that you can do to increase Google ranks is buy links. Since the Penguin update of 2012 was launched all those websites that were thriving on bought links have been given a sharp rap by Google. Google doesn’t consider paid links as natural links and as you may well know, SEO is all about using natural and organic ways to improve page rank.

Exchanging links with other websites is not a bad practice. At least it is better than buying links. But there is one problem with exchanging links and that is relevancy. There would be many websites that would be more than happy to exchange links with your website but think if they are relevant websites. Link exchange with websites that belong to your niche is the best practice as far as improving page rank is considered.

Spamming is one way to improve the number of incoming links and spamming is easy. You visit blogs and post your comments with links to your website included in the post. For a while you will see a spike in the number of visitors to your website but this surely is not going to be long lasting. Google will soon see through the charade and may ban your website forever.

Spamming in the form of blog posts has another disadvantage – you earn bad reputation. Keep in mind that the best bloggers have followers in thousands and such bloggers can easily blacklist you. If you post spam on a popular blog you will only end up angering the host and this is bound to be bad for your online business.

Link building to increase Google ranks is hard work and you need to work on it all the time. The worst thing to do is to leave your link building strategy half done. SEO is a time consuming concept and proper link building may take even a year. If you lose patience it is you that is going to lose out. Keep working on doing good things and other websites will automatically start linking with your website.

For link building to increase Google ranks it is important to have a good SEO partner. There are SEO companies that are especially good for link building. Connect with these SEO companies and see what they can offer. You wouldn’t be disappointed when you hire a professional.

Desperation is not the way to increase Google ranks ( http://www.link-building-strategies.com ). You may want to build links ( http://www.link-building-strategies.com/blog/category/gamit-customers-search-engine-ranking-improvements ) fast but don’t engage in unethical tactics.
