Working as a Mashgiach is always exciting and challenging at the same time. He is always expected to be a powerful player in any kitchen. He must know how to deal with the kitchen and serving staff with diplomacy and grace in order to be a respected team member. How can the patrons make sure that the food is really kosher? How can they figure out what is exactly going on behind closed doors?

Mashgiach is expected to catch the mistakes, prevent catastrophes and keep the customers happy. It is the responsibility of the Masgiach to check each product, and consult the authority in case any issue arises. He is well-versed with the laws of Kashrut so that people can trust him to oversee the kitchen.

Checking and approving all supplies and food coming into the kitchen for proper kosher certification and storage, Daniel Sunray served as a manager and a Masgiach at Mr. Broadway in 2016. Possessing a great ability to work as a team with staff as well as independently, he has always been respectful and tolerant of the spectrum of Jewish observances and practices. In case of any conflict, Daniel Sunray has always been highly creative in problem solving and resolving conflicts in a positive manner.

Being a manager, Daniel Sunray took it to his responsibility to establish and maintain the policies and procedures that insure that all food preparation complies with Jewish dietary laws. He was quite aware of how to manage dining personnel and work in a cooperative manner with the team members. He also provided leadership and guidance to the team members in preparation and serving of high quality tasting meals.

Besides a Mashgiach, Daniel Sunray managed his own business named Sunray Gems in Israel, where he was involved in the import and export of jewellery. With a desire to utilize his extensive business and sales experience, he managed a successful jewelry business. Holding extensive knowledge of the precious and semi-precious stones, Daniel Sunray has always been quite careful in selecting each piece based on the quality, design and beauty.
