The small business firms which have started doing overseas business get in good profits in the 6 months of the starting only, as per a survey. The study also has to say that there are many who do not want to get into exporting.

According to a research, every one in 3 small businesses firms that starts doing an overseas business is experiencing benefits from that side in as little as 6 month’s time.

As per the survey done by Kingston University, which had included 1,500 entrepreneurs, there has been an increase of around 82 per cent in the time span of 2 years.

Nevertheless, the number of people who was a part of the survey, out of these around 10 of them of was of the view that they had not started doing any kind of an export but they had plans that they will be doing so in the next year that is 2013. On the other hand, more than half of the people had to say that they did not want to get into doing overseas business at any point of time.

Around 20 per cent of its sales, Sharda Glass, a Glass supplier company, makes from its overseas company. Neil Shards who is the managing director of the company is very vocal and says that people who do want to get into exporting are missing a very good opportunity.

After he had paid a visit to a trade show which was done in Qatar, he was able to make contacts with around 2000 people after he was able to come out with a conclusion that what is the best thing for his business. After this, he had gone to Middle East for 5 days where he has 45 meetings in all. According to him, it is very necessary for the small business forms that they should make sincere efforts from their side to grow their business for better. Lord Green, the trade minister of the Government, is of the view that small business companies often fall into their own trap since they are very fearful of even things that are not known off. He then added that they do not have a department which is into doing a planning for the company so as to what has to be done and also from where. In which direction should the company go into, should that place be China or Europe. What is going to happen when the company is going to go there? Is the company going to get good amount of money or not? These and many other similar kinds of problems are faced by the business firms which are small in sizes.
