The Rice Straw Power project from Leipzig is introduced by Hans Lothar Köhl. This is an initiative, which is taken up in order produce clean renewable energy and developing resources. This rice straw project has now reached its final stage after years of project development.

An expert team has worked relentlessly behind this initiative. Mr. Köhl is the founder as well as the initiator of his rice straw project. This initiative was first taken up in the year 2006. It came alive along with the coordination with Ms. Thi Minh Ngo from Vietnam in East Germany. There are several advantages of this rice straw project.

First of all, this energy project will facilitate in creating heating and building materials from rice straw. Reports have stated that, this is an environmentally safe project and would definitely safeguard the environment. Several problems of the world are going to get resolved after the successful completion of this initiative. Air pollution would also be minimized, which causes by rice straw open field burning. Added to that, the level of overall methane contamination that takes place due to rotting rice straw will also be decreased.

The team, associated with Rice Straw Power is aimed to solve the hunger and housing problems of the world, especially in the poor countries of Asia, India and Africa.
