PCOS Awareness Association takes the bid to announce PCOS Awareness Month 2016 for the purpose of spreading awareness about PCOS.

PCOS Awareness Association is well recognized for spreading awareness related to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) that occurs in over 10 million women worldwide. In a bid to raise awareness, PCOS Awareness Association announces its plans for National PCOS Awareness Month in September. With the ultimate aim to enable the women diagnosed with PCOS to have a better understanding of their problems, the association strives to help patients with all necessary information as well as support which is much required for the treatment of PCOS.

Via PCOS Awareness Association’s website, anyone that is interested in raising awareness or gaining information will find over ten activities they can participate in online or with friends and family or from the comfort of their own home.

Every day during the month of September, PCOS Awareness Association will feature a woman with PCOS or a person that supports the organization or a loved one. They will also provide a fact about PCOS from a renowned medical professional or advocate.

This year the organization decided to raise awareness of PCOS via Thunderclap; the first-ever crowd speaking platform that helps people be heard by allowing a single message to be mass-shared, flash mob-style on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr. They need 500 people join the Thunderclap before August 28th.

A few months ago, PCOS Awareness Association teamed up with DietBet and hosted a successful Diet Bet Challenge. They have opened up a few more challenges for awareness month to help you lose weight and win money! Beginning of August they will launch their official Step Bet Challenge too, where you can win money with your activity tracker.

PCOS Awareness Association has also teamed up with numerous organizations, groups and companies to bring resources and support. The newest resource is a partnership with Vitagene to provide personalized supplement programs designed for each individual women with PCOS. The Vitagene supplement program will include a unique blend of chromium, fish oil, inositol, and probiotics especially designed to combat the ill effects of PCOS.

PCOS Awareness Association hopes that these efforts will help provide patients with clear information and support for treating PCOS, educational resources and outreach.
