Sacramento, CA (July 10, 2017) – Der Biergarten, a Midtown Sacramento hotspot that is an all outdoor location dedicated to serving authentic German beer, food, and is known as a 100% dog friendly location will start serving beer for its 4 legged customers.

Sean Derfield, owner of Der Biergarten in midtown Sacramento, realized that people love to bring their dogs to its all outdoor location and wanted to give them something special.

“We get a lot of guests from the midtown area that stop in with their dogs during a walk. They sit at our communal beer garden tables and enjoy an ice cold beer while their dogs sit nicely watching all the action. So we thought, “Why not give the pup a treat as well?”

“So on Thursday at Der Biergarten, we will start selling Bowser Beer, a dog friendly beer, and to kick it off they will be hosting the SPCA’s widely popular Yappy Hour and donating 100% of the Bowser beer sales for that day, as well as, donating $1.00 of each regular beer sold to the to SPCA.

The Sacramento SPCA is committed to saving animal lives and Der Biergarten loves to see people enjoying the sunlight by day and the stars by night with their dogs and could not think of a better cause to kick off the sales of Bowser Beer.
