FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ever since pre-launch of the beta InTouch has been looking at 100-400 downloads a day, for three months now. That's a lot. So even though not entirely sure of their target group in spite of exhaustive market research, they had decided to launch officially June first anyway.

Let's be honest, most products have changed and keeps changing. InTouch started as a group of frequent travellers that thought communication apps could be better, more private and offer real time location sharing.

Do you want to share your real time location with a person or a group?
Do you want to share your photo album or even phone number with everyone you meet? InTouch intended to solve that.

As an example, apart from being able to communicate, they wanted to see our connections on a map; pin a location on that map to meet – with sharing that kind of information you should be able to easily control your privacy and group settings.

Thus they built a mobile app tailored to the traveller: A 'smart' messaging app called InTouch. It's smart because the app is integrated with precise location-based communication and useful tools – but secure. You share info with exactly those people you chose, not the whole net.

Now, to their surprise, a whole different group of users is approaching them. School camps; holiday house rentals; even for use at business conferences and in the medical world: doctors and patients keeping in touch. Basically, their target audience seems to find them. Like they say “Build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door”

InTouch has launches free will always be free and private – because they believe that a user's identity should not be a commodity. Being showered with commercials, that's the last thing you want while travelling. Or working. Or managing patients. Or children.
