Your Agarwal Packers and Movers DRS Group Agent will explain how each item should be prepared and will offer our packing services. If you prefer to pack your own electronics, follow these easy tips.
• Use a qualified service provider to remove and uninstall and AV equipment.
• Move electronics in original package boxes with the original packing materials.
• If you don't have original cartons, use packing materials that provide a good fit. Cushion your items inside the carton with bubble wrap, paper padding or foam peanuts.
• Consult your owner's thoughts for special instructions on Plasma and flat-panel TVs.
• Take pictures or video of how the wires are organized behind your electronics so they’re easier to set up at your new home.

Please make sure box labels and written instructions are clear and visible. It's our job to see that every item moves safely. Should contents of a carton you pack become damaged during transit, the liability may be yours. If we ask you to repack a box, it's because we're looking out for your best interest.
Agarwal Packers and Movers DRS Group may not be liable in the event certain items are lost or damaged. Please pack these items and arrange to transport them yourself.

STEPS FOR BEING PREPARED BEFORE YOUR ELECTRONICS ARE SHIPPED
1. Back up all software in your pc.
2. Draw a simple diagram, take a photo or videos or tape color codes on wires to make reconnecting much easier.
3. Disconnect all connections like wiring and cables.
4. Wrap wires around themselves so they don’t get tangled.
5. Keep all components together, in boxes clearly labeled.
6. Pack all wires and cables with their corresponding electronic units.
7. Pack all small accessories, such as remote controls, with each component. Or place them in a one box "Parts Box". Note this on the inventory list so small parts are not misplaced.
8. Submit a list of your electronic components and computer equipment (with serial numbers) to your owner's insurance company.
Once your Agarwal Packers and Movers crew arrives at your new house, it’s time to make sure your home electronics were unharmed during transit. Check off each item as it is unloaded, using your Customer Responsibilities form and Customer Check-Off sheet from our Important Move Information. If something appears damaged, make a note of it. If you think an item is missing, alert your Agarwal Packers and Movers crew immediately so they may locate it.
TIPS FOR SETTING UP ELECTRONICS SETUP AFTER UNPACKING
• Make sure you have all the necessary parts of your item before setting it up
• Use your diagram, photo, or Video colored tape to plug in the wires correctly
• Let your home electronics needs reach room temperature before plugging them in
• For TV and computer setup, follow the directions given to you to reinstall to software
• Valuation refers to the liability Agarwal Packers and Movers assumes—and the amount you may receive if an item is lost or damaged. Unless you specify otherwise, Agarwal Packers and Movers assumes liability based on your purchase of full-value protection (FVP). This is an affordable choice for peace of mind. In the unlikely event an item is lost, damaged, or destroyed; it will be repaired or replaced at our option.
• Agarwal Packers and Movers provide basic protection (BP) at no cost. However, it limits our liability on any item to 60¢ per pound. This may not provide enough coverage for your peace of mind.
• House owner’s insurance may protect home electronics during transport. Ask your insurance company about coverage.
