Fort Wayne, Indiana— October 18, 2022 — Aeverine Zinn Digital Media Group announced today of a 14-part Caprice & Ella miniseries “Breaking Boiling Point,” which will premiere on Sunday, January 15, 2023 and concluding on Thursday, February 2, 2023. “Breaking Boiling Point” will give viewers an in-depth look about the affordable housing crisis in Fort Wayne, Indiana from the perspective of Aeverine “Ava” (Zinn) Nieves—known as Ava Zinn, as she, her cat, Caprice, and her dog, Gabriella “Ella” of the heart-wrenching experience after CIM Living of New York bought Brendonwood Park Apartments, as well as other Fort Wayne, Indiana apartment complexes such as Hickory Creek Apartments and Parkview Apartments, changing the name of the apartment complex from Brendonwood Park Apartments to Black Pine Flats on the southeast side of Fort Wayne, Indiana and new management, of which Caprice and Ella describe is rude and unkind, decides to no longer welcome recipients of the Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8), of which Ava is a recipient of, therefore the lease at what is now Black Pine Flats is was not renewed and scrambles to find another place for Caprice, Ella, and Ava to call home, in which eventually happens with Golfview Apartments on the northeast side of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Viewers meet Rebecca Fielitz, the property manager at Black Pine Flats that replaced Brendonwood Park Apartments’ property manager, Kellie Yoquelet, in which in a stark contrast was a kinder property manager to Caprice, Ella, and Ava compared to Fielitz. From mid-May 2022 until November 2022, Zinn, producers Karly Jameson and Rachael Passalt with directors Malitia “Thia” Tola and Breeanna Sorensen, along with Kendra Ray document the events that transpired at Ms. Zinn’s home at Black Pine Flats as they happened from start to finish.

“What ‘Caprice & Ella’ viewers will see in ‘Breaking Boiling Point’ is after Ava (Zinn) gets alerted of her lease (at Black Pine Flats) not being renewed, we see Caprice, Ella, and Ava like nobody has seen them before,” said co-producer Rachael Passalt. Co-Producer Karly Jameson added, “we do see Caprice and Ella misbehave a lot as Caprice was seen hissing (at Fielitz) over 500 times plus her tail being puffy only five times as well as Ella barking and growling (at Fielitz) over 100 times in the time span. And yes, we do see Ava swear like Gordon Ramsay in case anyone was asking.”

“Breaking Boiling Point” also shows the final stores Ava goes to as a resident of the southeast side of Fort Wayne and the first stores as a resident of the northeast side of Fort Wayne as well as other surprises. Viewers of Caprice & Ella will also see on-camera debuts of Karly Jameson and Breeanna Sorensen, the latter of whom began dating creator and executive producer Ava Zinn.

Caprice & Ella is created and executive produced by Ava Zinn (“Queen of the Willis,” “Vote for the Girls,” “Amanda & Elisa,” “RAT TV”), directed by Malitia “Thia” Tola (“Vote for the Girls THAI”) and Breeanna Sorensen (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), produced by Karly Jameson (“The Karly Ryder, Jr. Show”) and Rachael Passalt (“The Souzas”).
