The welfare of the child is the primary goal so as to prevent or remedy the behaviors like neglecting, abusing, or exploitation of children while preserving, rehabilitating, or reuniting families.

 
San Antonio, TX, 20th June 2016: Today, Summerlin Day Care, the child protection worker and its officials jointly announced system-wide reforms of providing the best child protective services and efforts to support frontline social workers for strengthening efforts for child protection. The improvements include new intake and supervisor policies for the first time and the reestablishment of the efforts that were lost in some way or the down the lane.

The welfare of the child is the main goal to prevent or remedy the behaviors like neglecting, abusing, or exploitation of children while rehabilitating or reuniting with families. Another foremost responsibility is to assure adequate care of children who are "Out-of-Home" placement, also known as foster children. There are several programs under the child protective services which include: professional care, special enrichment programs, activities and play, family maintenance, special learning, appropriate classes teaching languages, reading and much.

“Our systematic reforms are necessary to support the efforts of our social workers, supervisors, and managers who are on the front lines of protecting the wealth and overall development of the children,” said the head of Summerlin.

“Also reducing loads of studies, setting of activities and ensuring clear and concise policies for supervision of the children are all necessary to make sure that Summerlin Day Care can focus on its primary duty of keeping children safe. The management and leadership of the day care have agreed to enact several further reforms and recommendations that accelerate the implementation of efforts for child protection in every way. In addition to these action steps, the department of child care is now able helping the child to grow with positive attributes.

According to Summerlin Day Care, the supervisors are expected as:

1. Highly skilled practitioners who implement ethical and culturally competent practices resulting in improved outcomes for children and their development.
2. Mentors are there for providing special learning & enrichment programs which are intellectual and challenging for overall development of a child
3. The mentors divide the classes into age appropriation into exceptionally small groups
4. The officials are skilled at transmitting summer program and evaluating performances of the children
5. Exemplary leaders who help children to provide nutritional and well-balanced meals
