Our Lash had shared with you about some standard operations of applying eyelash extensions before, though to be an eyelash technician need thousands of practices, Our Lash still hope our sharing can help you a little in your work, or help the girls who’re hesitate about eyelash extensions and want to know more.
Today we listed the standard operation of cleaning and refill of eyelash extensions. As we all know a proper refill will help you keep your eyelash extensions in better state and last longer, so it’s as important as grafting, let’s see and learn together:

1. Take eye photos for customers before grafting, including front eye opening, front eye closing and side view.
2. Disinfect hands and the tools with 75% alcohol.
3. Protect the client's hair and makeup by covering the forehead and hair with a bandana.
4. Use a water-based makeup remover to initially remove makeup around customer’s eyelashes, experienced lash technician will know oil products will affect the performance of glues, if you’re reading this and want to clean lashes at home, make sure to use oil free make up removers.
5. Use eyelash cleanser for a deep cleaning, that’s to remove oil and dust, if there’re mites can also be removed and cleared.
6. Dry the lashes with an eyelash fan.
7. Use eye patches to isolate customer’s upper and lower lashes.
8. Use tapes to lift up the eyelids and expose the base of lashes for the following handlings.
9. Use eyelash primers to deeply clean real lashes to ensure the grafting effect lasts longer.
10. Place the tape with one side facing outwards in a circle around the upper eyelid; be prepared for the next step.
11. Use tweezers to pick out lashes grow longer and those that have changed their growth direction and stick onto the tape.
12. Apply a layer of glue discharge cream to the base of the eyelashes on the tape and let it stand for five minutes or so.
13. After the above handling then you can tweeze false eyelashes easily.
14. When all broken lashes are picked out, clean the lashes with eyelash cleanser, rinse with saline solution, and blow dry with the fan again.
15. Lift eyelids to fill in missing lashes.
16. Use durable strengthening agent to treat the root of false eyelashes, so that the grafting effect is more firm, but also can accelerate the speed of glue drying, reduce the discomfort of customers.

The most important thing after the refill is to tell customers about after-care tips again, it’s similar to a new lash extensions , such as 6 hours no water, 24 hours no shower…no oil products and so on, customer’s cooperation is as important as technician’s efforts.
