What is a sty

Causes: Unhygienic use of the eyes is generally caused by the decline of the ability to defend against staphylococcus after staying up late for a long time or the deterioration of physical functions (malnutrition, overwork or diabetes, etc.), the use of dirty handkerchiefs, hand rubbing or wiping of the eyes.
Treatment:
Where the hordeolum is small, it may sometimes be absorbed naturally.
In cases of large hordeolum, artificial injection of adjuvant corticosteroids is required, or surgical removal is performed.
In the case of acute hordeolum, antibiotics are first used to reduce inflammation. (In older patients, the tumor should also be identified as a malignancy.)
