The principle of use is very simple: just hold the NutSmasher with one hand above the nut to be cracked on a board, pull the adorable squirrel head then drop it with the other hand to hit the nut to break its shell. It's instant and magical.

The NutSmasher allows to crack nuts easily and instantly without risk to fingers. Its speed of use allows to crack a lot of nuts in a minimum of time. It's fun to use and his squirrel-headed hammer gives him an adorable look.

It can break the vast majority of nuts such as hazelnuts, walnuts, cola nuts, Brazil nuts, pistachios, macadamia nuts, almonds or even peanuts.

The NutSmasher is practical because it does not take up much space. It is easy to store in a drawer or can hang on a hook. It is easy to wash by hand or in the dishwasher. It is suitable for both right-handers and left-handers.

Nuts & Health

It requires very little force and is therefore ideal for people with arthritis. Moreover, walnuts are recommended in case of Arthritis because it is one of the most anti-inflammatory foods. Walnuts are rich in omega-3 fatty acids and monounsaturated fats. Also, the nut contains many lean proteins, which help in the maintenance of the immune system.

The NutSmasher was designed & invented by the French designer Yannick HESCH (www.hesch.fr). He thinks that making eco-responsible products is a way to educate people to become eco-responsible.

About Yannick HESCH

Yannick HESCH was born in France. He studied at the European Design Institute in France and obtained a Master of Industrial Design at the University of Salford in England. He has worked for more than 20 years as an industrial designer and graphic designer. He works between Lyon and Paris and has already advised more than 300 companies.

He is passionate about everyday objects because he thinks that one lives better when one is surrounded by beautiful and good objects. He loves cooking and that why he has invented ORIBOARD, MEOMITT, PARISIANA & SCRUBBIO ;) He has already won many awards for his work, including 4 medals at the Lépine International Competition in Paris.
