In a recent visit to the town of Bozburun, YNG Yachting officials were on the site of the latest new Turkish gulet build, the 34 meter (111.5 ft.), Kaptan Mehmet Bugra. This new handcrafted Turkish gulet masterpiece is due to launch in April 2014. She is the only new gulet charter over 30 meters being released into the sea from the region that will be serving in the Eastern Mediterranean this season.

“We are excited to see such a magnificent new and high quality gulet join the charter industry from Turkey”, explains YNG Yachting official. “The Kaptan Mehmet Bugra gulet is progressing quite nicely”. “There is a interesting story behind her creation, which we will be releasing very soon”, expresses YNG charter consultant.

“The Project is going better than we expected”, states Captain Suleyman and owner of Kaptan Mehmet Bugra gulet. “The weather has been in our favor, as we have not yet had a winter here in Bozburun yet, and it’s February. This is good for us because it allows us to work more rapidly and finish the build in a timely and quality manner. We have ordered all the en suite fittings and fixtures including the mosaic tiling for the shower cubicles, and beds – among other items”, explains Captain Suleyman. “The crew will total 5 including myself as the captain. Our chef will be coming from Istanbul. English will not be an issue since our hostess will be knowledgeable and I speak basic English too. Our sole aim is to provide our guests good quality dishes, services, accommodation, and our experience, for a very memorable holiday in Turkey”, says Captain Suleyman.

There are total of 8 guest cabins with air conditioning. Two master cabins are located at the stern and bow. In addition there are 2 triple cabins and 4 double guest cabin accommodation. The crew quarters are separate. Decor will feature leather accents, teak and mahogany all throughout. Alfresco dining is available both in the aft and forward decks with the option of shading in the forward sunning area and aft deck.

This beautiful gulet measures 34 meters in overall length. The 48m2 forward deck alone is quite spacious providing that sturdy and secure feeling for when guests will be at sea on their yacht holidays with Kaptan Mehmet Bugra
