ICT^hothouse together with Kyiv City Blood Centre launched first in Ukraine informer that displays the state of blood donation units according to Kyiv blood bank. It represents automatically updated website section that displays the level of blood donation units according to blood banks data across Kyiv Blood Centre plus donations that are currently being processed in the labs. The values are updated daily so each donor can see how his donation has influenced the donation levels.

Informer creators expect that it will help to solve the problem of blood reserve shortage and call the concerned to join Ukrainian blood donor movement:”It is highly important to prevent blood donation shortage to the critical level and donate regularly. Everyone can make a contribution to the donor development; it is enough to install the informer to a website. The informer will help users see current blood donation levels, capture and retain donors to Blood centres and increase the number of regular donations.” - mentioned Ihor Shkurko, the manager of XM^online project.

Currently, the informer displays blood donation levels according to blood banks data across Kyiv Blood Centre, but it is planned to start cooperation with other Ukrainian blood centres in the nearest future. The informer already available for installation at https://xm.icthh.com/blood-donation.

The project is powered by a cloud solution XM^online for the purpose of drawing attention to blood donation problem and organising the process of cooperation between Blood centres and their donors. We would like to remind the readers that it is the second service that launches ICT^hothouse together with Kyiv City Blood Centre. Earlier it was announced the launch of messaging blood donors campaign.
