What problems will the air compressor crankshaft cause for a long time?

The heat generated by the compressor during normal operation should not cause overheating. Normal motor heating, compression heat and frictional heat have been carefully considered when designing the compressor, and corresponding cooling measures have been taken.

However, in actual use, overheating of the motor due to problems such as over-range use, abnormal power supply, motor overload, refrigerant leakage, and too high condensing pressure, such as high temperature of the motor, high exhaust temperature, and scorching of lubricating oil, are more common. Become one of the common faults of the compressor.

Cylinder exhaust temperature is one of the important indicators to judge whether the compressor is overheated. Due to the difficulty of measurement, the actual application is to determine whether it is overheated by measuring the temperature of the exhaust pipe surface (ie the temperature of the exhaust pipe). Since the lubricating oil becomes very thin when it reaches 150°C, it will begin to decompose and deteriorate at around 175°C, so the cylinder exhaust temperature should be controlled within 150°C, and the exhaust pipe temperature is usually 10~ lower than the exhaust temperature 40°C.

Therefore, if the exhaust pipe temperature exceeds 135°C, it is generally considered that the compressor has been severely overheated; and if the exhaust temperature is lower than 120°C, the compressor temperature is normal. The discharge temperature of air conditioner compressors and refrigerator compressors is usually lower. High temperature has great harm to compressor motor and lubricating oil.

Long-term overheating will not only reduce the insulation performance and reliability of the motor, shorten the life of the motor, but also reduce the lubricating ability of the lubricant, and even cause the lubricant to carbonize and acidify. After the lubricating oil is carbonized, the lubricating ability will be greatly reduced, which will cause severe wear of the crankshaft, connecting rod, piston, piston ring, etc., and even stall phenomenon such as shaft holding, cylinder jam, and connecting rod breakage caused by stalling.
