November 01, 2017 - The JMJ Project: Last Portrait is one of the latest works of Passing Words, based in San Francisco, United States. This play challenges and delves into the beliefs of humanity, identity and existence. The organization has recently launched a campaign on Indiegogo, to crowdfund the project.

The play will be launched in 2018, in the winter season. It is based on the outstanding tale of endurance and survival of man, whether in a state of homelessness, or in a privileged condition or in a state of terminal illness. He keeps on searching for solutions to his existential problems, which direct him to the creation of art and establish a lasting legacy. The writings of the man are a result of the extraordinary journey of his life, and his constant search for some meaning in life.

Other than reflecting the life of the individual, the JMJ Project explores the themes of identity, social justice and the things that are supposed to be experienced and realized. The organization was created with the mission of producing theater that affirms life and questions identity as well as existence.
