Football popularity has been around since the beginning of time making it one of the oldest and most love sport around.

One of the most watched games when it comes to soccer has to be the FIFA cup or known more technically as the International Federation of Association Football. Although many countries all over the world have their own shining glory when it comes to their soccer games, however, one of the most popular places for soccer would have to be England. If we talk about the rudiments, soccer is a game between two groups, having 11 players each. Albeit every player has a significant task to carry out, perhaps the main parts in any soccer group would need to be the goalkeeper. Goalkeepers assume a fundamental job during any game on the grounds that their primary point is to ensure the rival group doesn't score by obstructing any shots endeavoured by any of the individuals from the other group. Although goalkeepers do not run around like the rest of the players, his role is much harder compared to the rest because he is the barrier between winning and losing thus there is a lot of pressure demanded towards goalkeepers in general.

Being a goalkeeper can make you legendary and here is a list of the world's top five goalkeepers of all time in International Soccer:

#5: Bert Trautmann

Bert Trautmann is a German goalkeeper who used to be hated by the fans because of his involvement in the Second World War. This all changed when he settled down in England and began to play soccer.

A two-time FA cup winner, league cup winner, and winner of the UEFA cup in 1972, being named the FWA footballer of the year in 1973 as well as being the PFA players' player of the year in 1976.
